MSHSL Visual Arts Competition Results
As part of the 8AA section for MSHSL Sauk Rapids-Rice competed on April 14 against Sartell, Big Lake, Willmar, Monticello, Little Falls, and Alexandria. Each school was only able to submit 18 artworks.
Artworks are matted, framed abs accompanied by artist statements by students about their work. The work is hung in a gallery at Alexandria Technical and Community College where it is adjudicated by professors and professional artists over a two-week period. Artworks are scored and comments are written to the students.
Excellent ratings are from 15–17 totaled points
Superior ratings are from 17.5–20 totaled points
