Middle School Golf- 5/7 Weekly Update

• Those going to the meet on Monday, you will receive an email with specific instructions for you. Including meet times and departure times. You will be getting out of school early. Look at the email you get closely to see when you are dismissed.

• Anyone Going on Monday, if you get quarantined, please email or tell a coach as soon as you know so we can try to get a replacement if possible. 

• **Everyone will compete in the meet on Thursday May 13th** On May 13th, all golfers will get out of school at 2:45 and the bus leaves at 3:00. 

• Next Wednesday we will send out the starting holes for the meet on Thursday. This way if you want to come watch you know where to find your golfer.

• If your child has a Storm golf polo that they borrowed for a meet, please return to Ms. Bunnell ASAP.

 

• Spectator rules / information for the meet Thursday:

  • Follow 10-20 yards behind the group you are watching.

  • Try not to give golf advice as that’s for practice, not meets.

  • If there is a rules question or the golfers need help clarifying something and you know the rules feel free to explain it to the group. Otherwise we will be around to assist too.

  • Please give applause for good shots from all golfers that you are watching. 

  • **Watch out for golf balls coming from other directions. Veterans is a tight course and we have some new golfers.

  • Spectators will be walking, no carts. The coaches will have a cart parked in two central locations to be able to get places quickly if needed for rules or help.

  • We plan to have a shotgun start right at 3:30.
