Welcome to Storm Cross Country

Cross Country is open to students in grades 6–12.

We are a team of trusted individuals, who strive to support one another in our goal of being champions on the course, in the classroom, and in our daily lives. We are dedicated to representing Sauk Rapids-Rice in a positive light with all that we do.

Equipment & Uniforms

7th - 12th Grade Cross Country will begin on August 14 at the high school. Please meet upstairs in the Wrestling Room. The first two weeks of practice will be Monday - Thursday 3:30 - 6:00, and Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 AM.

What to bring to practice:

All members of the Sauk Rapids-Rice Cross Country Team must have a kit bag at all practices!

Fill your kit bag with the following items:

1. Water bottle - filled and labeled

2. Safety vest

3. Hand sanitizer

4. Disinfectant wipes

5. Appropriate work-out attire: running shorts, pants, or tights; running shirt; socks; sports bra

6. Team uniform (Meet Days) (for season)

7. Running shoes

8. Pre and/or Post workout snack: Protein bar, trail mix, fruit snacks, fruit

9. Sweats, outer layers

10. Towel

12. Digital watch (optional)

13. Racing spikes (optional for meets)

14. Uniforms will be distributed to each athlete. Athletes are responsible for the care and return of the uniform (top and bottom).
