Welcome to Storm Winter Guard

Welcome to the Winter Guard home page! Winter Guard is a sport of the arts that ties together dance, theater/acting, athletics and the use of equipment (flags, rifles, sabres and props) to visually portray music. Winter Guard is open to all Sauk Rapids-Rice students in grades 7–12 and offers competitive performance opportunities through participation in the North Star Circuit and Winter Guard International. NO experience is required but any background in dance, gymnastics, theater or music is helpful! Our season begins in October with training camps and concludes in April with championships. As a team we strive for excellence and entertainment while promoting growth, responsibility, teamwork and a sense of family.
