Background Checks
Applicants need to complete a background check when they receive an offer of employment with Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools (School Board Policy 404).
You will need the following:
- Social security number
- Driver’s license number
- Addresses where you have resided in the last seven (7) years
- Credit or debit card to pay for the background check online. Please contact us if you do not wish to pay online.
Background checks conducted at other school districts within the past year may or may not be accepted by Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools. Please contact us if you have questions about transferring a background check.
The Minnesota background check search fee is $28.00. If additional state searches are needed, extra fees may apply. We reserve the right to collect fees prior to assignment start and will contact you for payment by cash or check.
